Our Green Initiative

Red Devil® has a strong reputation for producing superior, building and repair solutions. We believe in meeting today's product demands while helping to preserve the environment. Red Devil® has maintained a commitment to compliance with all environmental health and safety regulations and continually safeguards the safety and health of its workers. Our products do not contain asbestos or chromates. Our research effort focuses on minimizing or eliminating hazardous ingredients in product formulations and production without compromising performance. Changes made as a result of this effort:

Product Formulations:
  • Ethylene glycol, a toxic solvent commonly used in latex products, was replaced with non-toxic propylene glycol.
  • Aqueous ammonia was replaced with less volatile materials.
  • Solvent-based product formulations were replaced with cleaner and safer water-based formulas.
