Many experts agree that May is the best month to upgrade your refrigerator. For this industry, the new and improved versions will roll out in the spring, so most retailers are in a “deal-making” mood. We also recommend heading to the store on the weekday and at the end of the month to score the lowest price possible.

You can check out other appliances but be sure not to purchase them until the fall. This is when you’re likely to find the best bargain for them. However, gas grills and air conditioners are exceptions. The best prices for these may not appear until winter.
