Our products do not contain asbestos or chromates.

Our research effort focuses on minimizing or eliminating hazardous ingredients in product formulations without compromising performance. Changes made as a result of this effort:                                   

• Ethylene glycol, a toxic solvent commonly used in latex products, was replaced with non-toxic propylene glycol.
• Aqueous ammonia was replaced with less volatile materials.
• Solvent-based product formulations were replaced with cleaner and safer water-based formulas.                                                               

Finally, Red Devil® continues to search for ways to recycle throughout the organization, reduce energy usage, and reduce waste.
